Eagle Rides a Perilous East Wind

Today, Apr 8 2017, is the third day since the Eagle launched a quintessentially White Horse attack against the Syrian government, ostensibly as punishment for a great war crime presumed perpetrated by the government against its own citizens and a high moral lesson for the world.   Now, three days out, it’s tempting to think that this ‘limited’, ‘surgical’, ‘one-off’ attack on Syria will teach Assad his lesson and show the world that the USA no longer draws blurry ‘red lines’ and shrinks away from prosecuting their violation.

The true circumstances of the gas attack, who is responsible and what sort of gas it was, leave vast room for reasonable doubt, mass media judgment notwithstanding.  All considered, there can be no doubt that some sort of chemical weapons were released and that the main beneficiaries are the rebel-ISIS alliance.  Indeed, the anti-Assad forces are cheering the US retaliation and why wouldn’t they?  It diverts heat away from them and toward their target at a time when they’ve been losing ground to near defeat by the coordinated efforts of the Syria-Russia alliance.  Suddenly the world is once again diverted away from the Islamic terrorists and toward the lawful defenders of the legitimate government.

Speculations about the complex motives for the US attack on Syria abound but results speak louder than opinions.  At home, legions of hateful Trump detractors now have something they can applaud, while many who supported Trump’s MAGA campaign feel betrayed.  Judging by the fruit then, it could all be chalked up to a brief appeasement of the deep state and the military industrial complex to disprove absurd Russian conspiracies and sound a warning to other international foes.  Perhaps it was intended as a one-off PR exercise.  After all, the attack itself was a rather modest slap with little military impact on Syria, telegraphed beforehand to Russia and others, so maybe this will blow over, message delivered.

Were it not for the light of Biblical prophecy, the analysis could all end there.  Under the illumination of the Word however, there are too many converging time cues to risk falling back into the complacent slumber of normalcy bias.  The timing of events since Feb 28, when President Trump effectively announced the end of the ride of the White Horse, synchronize with the prophecies of an Eagle-Bear confrontation and subsequent great deliverance that unfolds at a Passover season.   If the world makes it past Passover, Apr 12 2017, in relative peace, we may be able to begin exhaling until 2018’s Passover season presents another high risk period in Biblical prophecy.

We’re now just four days away from Apr 12 and, despite ominous preconditions to this cataclysm falling alarmingly into place,  the key sign of the feathers being plucked from the Eagle remain unfulfilled.  Since an eagle in flight is not prey for a bear, its ribs will not be torn by the Bear while its feathers remain intact.  The plucking of feathers is done by an external force, deliberately and quickly.  This act precedes the devastating attack that rips out three of its ribs and renders the suddenly grounded Eagle vulnerable.  Since it is not a wounding attack but merely as disabling one that would self-heal given some time, this plucking represents some other means of throwing the Eagle into a flightless tail spin.  Apart from overt, physical war, which we know the three ribs represent, the only other means is financial.

Whatever the perceived upsides of this precipitous White House action are, the downsides carry enormous risks.  Chief among those is the fact that the two biggest foes of the Eagle have been roused to anger at the same time.  Russia has cut off the lines of communication and cooperation in Syria, declared US relations to be severely damaged and warned that it will be ready contain any further such aggression by the US.   Meanwhile, China’s dictator was kept waiting in Palm Springs while the US president was making his show of force in Syria, a military message not lost on his guest.

Both these nations are financially allied in BRICS against the US-dominated financial hegemony.  As the largest foreign holder of US treasury debt, China has cards to play that could completely destabilize the US banking system, especially considering the astronomical US debt burden.  As we have seen in other flash crashes, these avalanches of lost confidence can unfold in hours, even minutes.  Russia will not allow Syria to be threatened by the US.  China now has urgent concerns about a possible US strike on North Korea that could ignite an apocalypse in its hemisphere.  Neither nation will be unscathed by a US financial meltdown, but compared to the consequences of an unchecked and aggressive Eagle intent on imposing its international will at all costs, the time to play that card may be seen to be at hand.  Certainly both these nations have been massively bolstering their gold reserves in recent years as a hedge against the inevitable demise of the US dollar.

Whatever other escalations these next few days may bring, the penultimate one to watch for is a sudden financial crisis on a scale dwarfing that of 1929.  There are just two business days left before Apr 12.  Any hoof beats of market mayhem over the next 48-72 hours would announce the Red Horse’s arrival and its unprecedented military apocalypse for Israel, Syria and especially the USA.

It’s a cascade of events unforeseen by multitudes of political and prophecy pundits alike because it has been locked away by the key of the knowledge of Ephraim’s end-time identity as the Eagle of Dan 7:4 and its ribs in verse 5.  And while Isaiah’s oft-quoted reference to Damascus is plain, the bulk and subject of chapter 17 has no resonance without the key of Ephraim to unlock not only his prophecy, but the elaborating witnesses of Jeremiah, Elijah, Hosea and Jacob.

Dan 7:4-5
The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings:
I beheld till its wings were plucked,
and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon its feet as a man,
and a man’s heart was given to it.
And behold another beast, a second, like a bear, and it raised up itself on one side,
and it had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth:
and they said thus unto it,
Arise, devour much flesh

Isa 17:1,3,4
The burden against Damascus.

Behold, Damascus will cease from being a city,
And it will be a ruinous heap.
The fortress also will cease from Ephraim,
The kingdom from Damascus, and the remnant of Syria;
“In that day it shall come to pass that the glory of Jacob [Joseph/Ephraim] will wane,
And the fatness of his flesh grow lean
